I watch the video. There was no mention of Aastrom or Vericel. In fact $VCEL/$ASTM are leaders in bone regeneraion thru autologous stem cells as developed originally at the University of Michigan from where Aastrom had its beginning.
Here are four (4) $VCEL clinical trials related directly to bone regeneration:
1 Completed Use of TRC Autologous Bone Marrow Cells in Posterolateral Lumbar Spine Fusion Condition: Single Level Posterolateral Spinal Fusion Interventions: Procedure: Bone Repair Cells (BRCs) with allogeneic, demineralized bone matrix; Procedure: Spine fusion with autologous bone graft
2 Completed Feasibility Study of Aastrom Tissue Repair Cells to Treat Non-Union Fractures. Conditions: Fracture, Ununited; Pseudarthrosis Interventions: Procedure: Fracture surgery; Drug: Cultured Bone Marrow Tissue
3 Completed Has Results Treatment of Alveolar Bone Defects Using Aastrom Biosciences Autologous Tissue Repair Cell Therapy Condition: Alveolar Bone Loss Interventions: Biological: Tissue Repair Cells (TRC); Device: Control
4 Completed Ixmyelocel-T Treatment of Patients With Osteonecrosis of the Femoral Head Condition: Osteonecrosis Interventions: Biological: Ixmyelocel-T; Other: Standard of Care Only
