This is in reference to money taken under the NWS. This is a separate topic than what we've been discussing (ending the Conservatorship).

As we know, Watt does not control the flow of the NWS. Mnuchin can end that any time he chooses (not Trump, Mnuchin). I suppose, Mnuchin could also return the money that was overpaid as long as Watt accepts it.

Ok. I was thinking that Watt will not release FnF from conservatorship until they are safe and sound which includes having a capital buffer. You know, protecting the tax payers. Wink Wink

I expect Mnuchin will stop NWS and let FnF build capital until Congress gets their chit together. I don't expect much more than that, but of course it would be great if they gave some of the money back.
