Exactly, the markets are segregating and futures are indicating the difference already. Then it's all about supply and demand. Nucor already spotted the direction and is already on board with Trinidad.

I suspect that many of the metals analysts who participate on CLF's CCs had not fully appreciated the bifurcation of the seaborne iron-ore market unless LG laid it out for them, as described in your post. (If the analysts already knew this, why weren't they talking about it in their sell-side reports?)
