Looks like another big volume trade day!
I don't think this happen without Squires coming back into QMC management. The Jan 30 2017 PR came a year after the announcement of the JV, and shows they have engaged in planning during that time, so hopefully forthcoming announcements will come soon and give more info on what's going on with QMA.
People on this board have asked, 'why did some board and employees leave?'. I would ask,
'why did Squires feel a need to come back?'. If he was already busy with QMA, and getting results, and after separating himself from QMC only six months earlier, it is pretty surprising. Thinking about it, he basically cleaned house of the upper management. I think that because I cannot see these people all leaving on their own accord, especially because the top tier got stock options on the way out. Had they left on their own, no need to give them anything.
So the question then is what did they do to get let go? Maybe we will get an answer to that in the 10Q. Regardless, the stock has more than doubled in the last month since they are gone, and that is the market speaking on the management change. That is a resounding endorsement of our current management.
