Not in the case of personal testimonials regarding commercial matters. There may well be a bias involved, conscious or unconscious.

I'm still waiting for the evidence supporting the claim that the Friar Tuck water is "the best in America". Maybe you have drunk that too and felt ultra-rejuvenated. It's kind of coincidental that the claim is made when RMHB is said to be going to bottle it (after acquiring the site and establishing a bottling plant on it as though that would be just a walk in the park).
