On the other hand, BPs take on risk in large and long trials regularly. Plus, as I understand it, absssi was greatly de-risked after the 2b to the point where some have called it a lock.

I think, more accurately: there are many in development, but few that are very far along, and fewer that are truly novel and with long term promise.

I was told that BP will purchase a Psoriasis drug after a good Phase 2,... while with antibiotics,.. more likely during or after Phase 3.
