I don't think it's with Republic National since Republic is not nationwide. Republic has just $5 billions in revenue. The company that my friend is working (ref to my post of conversation with my friend yesterday, after 4 pm) is $17 billion in revenue. But Republic National has distribution contract with ISBG in FL. The company my friend works for doesn't at this point but of course they are looking into it.
It's kinda weird, his company only got contract to distribute Bacardi last year. So Republic is the competitor in FL.
I ask him to tell me the first chance he learns of Besado is on board with his company. Actually we had a gathering last night at a friend's place. So I will get to know before you all know about Besado contract with his company.
His location has 70K cases of liquor passes through a day right now (off season) and over 100K cases a day on high season. He is one of the managers.
When I asked him about Besado he knew it right away what I was talking about and said you can find it at ABC.
Yes, Besado is in the market, FL at least. It is a known brand in the industry and it is rather new in the market. This matches with the company's narrative. I can only speak about FL market.
I am now at a friend's place in Aubandale FL (where Besado is distilled at in FL, maybe one of many locations ... I don't know). Just 4 miles from the distiller. I drove pass the distiller earlier but there is nothing worth taking picture to report since I can't get inside. The outside is just like a normal distiller... a little smell of stuff in the air. I would hate to live near there.
The status of Besodo brand for the distilling is LIVE according to my research. It started in June/July 2016. I am not sure that tell anyone anything but that's when the status went LIVE.
