I really thought they had a chance...I have been seeing them more and more in grocery stores around me.

Except one thing...It seems in the past 6 mos. the bigger Alkaline water companies have dropped their prices significantly in order to compete. Well, at least where I am at, and that's the Houston area - Big hub..and hot, so there is a lot of water being sold.

But 6 months ago, for instance Evamor was selling their 2 qt. bottles for over $2 - usually about 2.25-2.79, depending where you bought it. High PH, 8.8-9.1, and its artesian water.

WTER was less expensive at first.

Evamor is no fool. They had a good hold on the market for a while. They dropped their prices so that in one major grocery store here you can buy it now for approx. 1.79! That's a big drop. And now they can hardly keep it on the shelf.

WTER did NOT drop their price...and is now more expensive.

IMO they messed up...They were gaining ground...Now I am not sure sure, despite it being sold in more stores. I do not see it moving.

Another thing, it's labeling makes it look like a generic brand. SO who is going to pay more for a generic product?

Think they blew it.
