RE "The best thing PPHM has going for it is its survival record"

There is only 1 reason for its survival - unending and obscene amounts of dilution for which has resulted in the massive destruction of shareholder value. So I wouldn't call that the "best thing".

What is the "best thing"? Probably the fact that the U.S. internal revenue service allows a deduction for investment losses.

Thank you for your comments ent. I am sad you have not had good luck with this stock. 20 years is a long to wait for a win from PPHM. You are overdue for some pay dirt from this stock. After 20 years, I am not going to advise you to be patient. I know how you feel my friend. The reason I bought some shares, not many, but some was 1) The stock price recently took a big tumble. Nobody wants the stock. 2) PPHM has some institutional investors to the tune of 12%. It is very rare for a stock less than $1.00 and a pharmaceutical to have an institutional investor. An institutional investor has already taken a good look at this stock and generally they will not allow it to go under. It is true 12% is not a lot but its enough for me. If PPHM goes up on Monday, I might buy some more--but I am gun shy. Nobody seems to like this stock too much. Good luck. Stay with it, these small penny stocks pay a lot when they strike gold. I like these kinds of stocks the best.
