I'm actually going to be having about 137K USD clearing very very soon, and my account allows me to borrow 3X that amount on margin, so 100K on margin is fine, but it definitely is a risk if OWCP drops 30%, they could give me a margin call and not wait until it comes back up again. Then I would lose my initial investment. It works great if the stock going up, but horrible if it goes down past a certain point. So I would never borrow my max, for that reason, but with 100K I would be safe with...
