It's for shareholders who are current. If you own shares prior to the settlement/distribution date you'd be entitled to the distribution.
Another possibility is getting the settlement rescinded if it's not lucrative then taking our percentage owned of AS and selling it to a potential buyer. That could give us top dollar. Lots of options IMO.
