I guess what I am confused about is when someone has an idea they usually don't wait to make it until the patent gets issued. I see a lot of products with the words patent pending on them. Maybe it works differently in the tech business? I guess I struggle to understand what is the product that is KlickZie? Is it an app that you buy in an appstore?

Right on Tautachromes site it states "Smartphone users download KlickZie’s free software to take their pictures and videos." Sounds kind of like an app to me but I am not 100% sure. If you are an app developer do you wait for a patent before coding/designing/testing your app? Anyone have any expertise in app development want to chime in?
