It's hard to ignore the over 1 billion sales in one state alone from this industry. This is just the beginning for this sector. Governments have realized how much more taxes they can get by legalizing it. Same thing that happened to alcohol is happening now to grass.
They are allocating taxes for city, county, state, lodging, local markets, health services, metro district, public safety, Housing Authority, transportation, Local improvements... this is not going away. A lot of needed capital for the state is being generated thanks to this booming sector.
Do you realize how many states have a deficit, pension problem, infrastructure and education issue? Many and many more issues that I care to point out. The sale of marijuana and byproducts provides the solution for them. Everyone in congress has taken noticed.
For the next 10 years at least, the new color of gold will be green and not just for us investors, but also for local and state governments.
It is only a matter of when we see all these small cap companies replacing some of the big boys in the big indices and traded on big exchanges.
