What happened here? New issuance spin-off from IEP?

Carl has granted rights to buy additional shares at a discount. The rights are the discount if you elect to use them.. You can sell them to others if you want and they are off 50% from the issue price.. SO in theory if you buy the rights at discount you get the stock even cheaper. Don't count Carl out. He and Brent and David went short and that short will be rewarding for IEP. IT has to come as this Trump bump is long in the tooth...IMHO
