Plus cost will factor in also. As mentioned in the link about SnAgCu.It should also be noted that metals cost for this alloy are about 2.2 to 2.7 times that of SnPb eutectic at current market values.

Whereas SnCu is also 1.5 times more expensive than SnPb eutectic at current market values. Melting temp is higher in this case.

Anyway what ever alloy replaces the existing Pb will benifit our FMNJ stock since we have 159,518,908 lbs of tin too.
