I moved here to Vegas almost twenty years ago for a family reason. In that nineteen years I have been in a casino one time. My next door neighbor once called me from a casino, had too much to drink and drive. Would I come get him? Yes. And he had someone take him back for his car the next day. I do not gamble at all. Winters here are usually very mild. Nights can be thirties but days are usually fifties or more. And blue skies no matter. Rarely rains and does not snow.
My first trip to Vegas was in 1962 and we flew into one of the worst dust storm in history. We circled for over an hour trying to land! Stardust never did get the pool cleaned up and open! There was dust/sand everywhere. I got lucky at the crap table and made 13 passes! Guys were standing 3 deep trying to get bets down and several of them tossed me $25 chips when the run ended. I went shopping and had a ball! Went back twice to see Elvis, sadly the last performance was horrible.
