It is safe to say that GILD is less of a gamble than most,if not all,of the biotechs discussed on this board.
I get your point.
However, GILD is an investment that can be evaluated on DCF of CF and E. It may even be a classic value investment. But the question is what is the upside and the ROI (of buying stock not internal).
The typical cash-burning biotechs that many of us buy are high-risk : high-reward plays, not investing in the classical sense.
