I just saw a couple where the man was HCV positive, previously failed interferon based therapy. He is well informed about new DAAs and I couldn't believe how cavalier he was about getting treated. his doctor told him no rush early disease and all, but if it were me i would want that virus gone asap, not to mention risk to an intimate partner (even though it's very low w hep c)
purely anecdotal but these patients are still out there
