NOT TRUE...Anyone with a Margin account, and thats most, can buy up until Fridays close and get the dividend. Call your broker and ask them. Please share the proper information. Only cash accounts follow the 3 day settlement rule for dividends. Margin accounts, brokers cover the 3 day settlement period for you.
