Shrub, you misunderstood my posts...

First, I am long PACB. I was lucky enough that my limit order was filled the day following the Roche announcement. I had a limit order set @ $5.75 which got filled at $4.93. I got lucky!

Secondly, you replied to my post #757 but you misunderstood the meaning. I was agreeing with the fact that this technology could be obsolete any day through other advancements. However, this tech has value today and therefore PACB is worth selling today to ILMN for example. PACB risks new tech coming to market with every day. If they can receive a premium for the shares today, they should take it. I was not however referring to my shares. My risk is Limited with a basis of $4.93 and a potential buyout prospect near term!
