Sad to hear that you was hiding it from your family because embarrassing situation. However I happy for you that you didn't give up and kept shares for better days.
Be Proud and keep your head up. You'll be looked upon as a genius someday by your friends and family. They'll all be mad at you because you didn't let THEM know abut F and F when it was so cheap. LONG AND STRONG F AND F
Im not ashamed of owning THIS company in conservatorship. In fact, Im proud of it. FNMA is as American as Apple Pie because Fannie owns about half the mortgages in America and represents a middle class that owns America, not one of those countries where only the elite aristocracy can own homes.
Owning it in conservatorship makes a statement which says:
I believe in the US Constitution, and invest my money that it will be upheld.
America's Freedom was bought by a price..it was paid for in blood by American Troops.
I did not give up on the Constitution to our enemies, and I wont give it up to corrupt politicians, either.
Like your family and friends care. They have a saying, whenever you get things done by listening to friends and family. The result is always failure. You know what is best not your family or friends.
