I have no info. Just responding to another post. If $ backed 100% by gold $ go back to being what it is supposed to be. It will equal gold so there will be no need to actually own gold.

Otherwise it is like having $ under your mattress instead of having it in a checking account. You are not gaining anything by having your money under your mattress.
