Sting --> my portfolio currently consists of about twenty stocks. Some I swing-trade, some are long-term holds, and (mercifully only) a few are underwater, some of those WAY under (like this fiasco).
Out of those twenty current stocks, and all their forebearers, I did DD out the wazoo (or kazoo....yeah, right) which consisted of reviewing company PR, guidance, foreward looking statements, and the like, as well as researching any articles I could find on the respective company's product(s).
Not one out of those have I ever had the desire or inclination to go visit the company itself, nor felt a need to, and all in all, I've done well in the market despite this (what I'm assuming you'll call a) shortcoming.
Under these conditions here, where the guidance, statements, etc have all turned out to be a load of crap, where DD can't be googled out of the woodwork in spite of numerous attempts, and now the 10 is delinquent yet again, I couldn't possibly absorb enough hallucinogens to make the price of an airline ticket from NY to Phoenix seem worth the cost in time and money...
