Interesting, the way i see it is two-fold...1) the markets are algorithmically set 2) since SPY, DIA...have actual monetary value, people are buying it for financial gain and when it is "primed/ripe for the picking" the big boys will let er rip and cash in on the euphoria (thats one reason i watch certain talking heads--because they are patsies to keep the euphoria instilled).
But people can still scalp on the up and downs until then.

It's worth noting that this guy has been dead wrong for years.

He's been claiming dollar down, market down, while we've had huge multi-year rallies.

In his case perception and reality are deeply out of sync, and have been for many years.
