$130 (provisional) - application only basically.

$6K-$20K (non-provisional) - patent registered.

OWCP just dropped $300K for final safety and efficacy IRB studies. Once they are sure they have the most effective formulations, then will finalize the patents. The point of a provisional is to give you 12 years to research and finalize design. They just hired Miriam Sani to head up those efforts.
