EN 9100 is the aerospace industry certification standard for quality management. In America it is known as AS 9100. In Europe it is known as EN 9100. It is a rewrite from AS 9000. All are based on the ISO 9000 standard, which anyone who has worked in just about any industry knows about.
These standards don't call out any specific method of measurement or instrument used. They only prescribe the nature of the management of the efforts and results of quality assurance programs utilized. As such, EN 9100 is an overarching standard, regardless of any IPQA being employed on the manufacturing floor.
