Last night I got a nice surprise. I picked up my mail and received a driver's license renewal card and learned I can renew my driver's license on line. I did it immediately and will receive my new license within 20 days. They used the same photo that is on my current license. There was a question asking if my eyes have changed since my current license were issued and I checked "no" although I've had cataract removal and my eyesight is better.
This site shows the rules for renewal and I see that since I’m over 65, I can only renew every other renewal, which makes sense. That rules varies by state.
