i think its an interesting proposition. But, you will ultimately lose by a lower pps bfore the 10K comes out. What I would do is ask them what would happen to your position after the 10K comes out and people start to cover...will you be taxes extra? will you have to cover or give back that money that you receive..

Where's the money for Schwab in this? Not to pay a long to let a short borrow, anyone know what percent Schwab charges for margin?

Just did the math and it doesn't come out to $215.28, unless they are adding a charge detailed later. The equation comes to 216 even.

And rick85284, you said Schwab offered you 3%, monthly? Have you followed up with them.
