"Don't get me wrong, I'm no proponent of Fox News but to single them out as inaccurate is misleading considering all media outlets are like that. "

Fair enough.

Let me restate my position...over the last few weeks, I've noticed that FOX News has become MORE inaccurate in its reporting than other media sources. I'm not saying the others are awesome. I'm just saying FOX seems to be becoming the worst.

I also watch all news sources (including FOX), so this is just based on my own perception of what I've seen. There is just some evidence you can't ignore...and yet I seem to see FOX trying to.

"Did you know Fox News has the highest ratings than any other news outlet?"

I did know this. I think that's not meaningful though. Think of it like this... ABC, NBC, CBS, etc...they are all more left wing...and therefore Democrats split up thier "ratings" between them. FOX is the only really truly right wing channel, so it is the only choice for true Republicans who don't want to hear Democrat viewpoints. So, the lack of split makes their ratings higher.

Fox was god awful during the Bush administration. All war mongers yelling at anyone that would speak up against it. Their ratings plummeted during the Bush's last term and through most of Obama's term. As a matter of fact, all the news media outlets declined during this time. It was only Trump that brought them all back to life with the election. I stay away from both Fox and CNN, just too much bad reporting. I watch only Fox Business and CNBC. My favorite has always been Lou Dobbs even when he was at CNN.

Answer: Does Ackman still own GSE commons? (Thank you Obit)

From Obiterdictum (FMCC board): The William A. Ackman's purchase of FNMA and FMCC common stock was reported on November 15, 2013.

It is mandated by law that a statement of changes in beneficial ownership of securities be reported on Form 4 two days after the transactions have been made.

As far as can be determined by search all companies related to Willam A. Ackman, there is no record of Form 4 being filed by William A. Ackman or any of the companies that he signs for (i.e Pershing Square Capital Management) for a change in beneficial ownership of FNMA and FMCC.

Form me: "Obit, I recall hearing they don't need to file Form 4 when OTC stocks are sold. Any truth to this?"

Perhaps that hearing refers to exempted securities and securities that are not registered with the SEC....

However, OTC securities FNMA and FMCC are not exempted securities and are registered with the SEC. An exempted security is defined in the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 in Sec. 3(12)(A). Registered securities are recorded in the SEC EDGAR database. See Section 38 where FNMA and FMCC securities are declared not exempt.

Section 16(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 governs disclosures and reports of a company's officers and directors, and any beneficial owners of more than ten percent of any class of equity securities.

Quote:SEC. 16. DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, AND PRINCIPAL STOCKHOLDERS.
(a) DISCLOSURES REQUIRED.—

i](1) DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, AND PRINCIPAL STOCKHOLDERS
REQUIRED TO FILE.—Every person who is directly or indirectly
the beneficial owner of more than 10 percent of any class of
any equity security (other than an exempted security) which is
registered pursuant to section 12, or who is a director or an officer
of the issuer of such security, shall file the statements required
by this subsection with the Commission.

(2) TIME OF FILING.—The statements required by this subsection
shall be filed—

(A) at the time of the registration of such security on
a national securities exchange or by the effective date of
a registration statement filed pursuant to section 12(g);

(B) within 10 days after he or she becomes such beneficial
owner, director, or officer, or within such shorter
time as the Commission may establish by rule;

(C)if there has been a change in such ownership, or
if such person shall have purchased or sold a security based
swap agreement involving such equity security, before
the end of the second business day following the day
on which the subject transaction has been executed, or at
such other time as the Commission shall establish, by rule,
in any case in which the Commission determines that such
2-day period is not feasible.

10% beneficial ownership of SEC registered equities traded through the OTC ATS (OTCQB and OTCQX) is not exempted from disclosure statutes.

From me: PS Fox has high ratings because only old people watch network news. Did you know that 80% of Fox viewers are 60+ years old? Baby boomers were born into the most prosperous economy this world has ever known, only to squander it and now blame millennials and say they are entitled, spoiled and lazy. They live in a self induced bizarro world, brought to you by Fox, MSNBC, CNN..........There is no MSM liberal news and there's no MSM conservative news, only corporate news. The sooner Cons and Libs figure that out, the sooner we can take our country back and make it great again.
