I knew at one time it was the number one product in the country. I read about it years ago and the way I understood it is Hearst owned vast amounts of trees out west and they were worthless. Because hemp was in paper, clothes, concrete, rope. His media empire led the charge in demonizing marijuana which hemp suffered as well to turn his trees into some value. An acre of trees equals 4 acres of hemp. It takes the trees 30 years to grow and the hemp months. The Constitution was written on hemp paper.

I wasn't sure but assumed that THC would show up with hemp. Good to know.
