SC, >> MSNBC, ABC <<

All the more reason not to watch/listen to the mainstream media outlets.

But Trump's prominent use of the 'America First' slogan probably wasn't the best choice since it does have baggage from the 1930s. The term was used by people in the US who wanted to stay out of the war, some for sound reasons, but also by groups that favored the Nazis, for example Prescott Bush (father of Bush #1) a senior partner at the big Wall St firm Brown Harriman.

Prescott Bush helped fund the rise of the Nazis via a front company called the Union Banking Corp, which was later closed down under the Trading With the Enemy Act. There existed a pro-Nazi group from Big Business and Wall St who had previously plotted a coup against Roosevelt. Powerful groups in the UK also helped fund Hitler, the idea being that they assumed Hitler would attack Russia, thereby weakening both Germany and Russia, two of the British Empire's main rivals. It backfired though when Hitler attacked Europe and the UK. France also had a lot of Nazi supporters from Big Business who figured it was an opportunity to eliminate Communism and the union movement in France -
