I don't think Andy wants to sell, yet. I think he wants to build the company up first. I also think he points out the potential value of GNUS, for shareholders, to have something to look forward to.
I think that Sony has a void too large for GNUS to fill, on it's own. I haven't looked into Sony for a few years, but, I think they would have to buy a lot of companies to fill their content creation hole.
