dude if you have to ask that you should not be in OTC, stocks dont go straight up, if a stock goes up 400% in 2 weeks the probability it will pull back is 100%. Look up Fibonacci retracements and this may shed some light for you

Significant rise in price = overbought

Why oversold/bought? Because traders, specially day traders, including MMs buy and sell multiple times a day in order to lock in gains
