#283865 RE: north40000 #283864

I don't follow HALO, but skimmed recent posts. Maybe there are some problems there that would delay Avid 3?

Well that was one of the shortest rallies ever. Disappointing royalties yet again (is Shire selling any HyQ), out of control spending on PEG trials through to 2020 ($450m of which is still unfunded), three major Enhanze partnership failures including the world's biggest selling drug, and unconvincing messy data from the PEG Phase 2 trial culminating with most brokers only giving it a 60% chance of approval in 2020, have more than offset the so called Helen cherry picked headline news. The problem now is that 2017 will be a year of no major news other than SQ Mabthera approval in the US, which everyone says is a gimme. More patience required then - another 4 years worth.

north, and the new owner of HALO would have to honour the contract with PPHM/Avid or pay the fines (which mostly will be about the profit Avid would have realised on the orders).

With Avid manufacturing HALO is MUCH stronger and LESS vulnerable to any BP move. It is different when your IP is in BP's hands or your production depends on BP's factories or production chains on which BP can weight in.

I think PPHM is about to get a NEW contract from HALO (see HALO annual report and mentioning about HALO being in the process of looking for a manufacturer).

Avid has the cards to deliver where other cannot even compete. The business identified for Avid III is IMO amongst others HALO's new tender.
