The Shire standstill is meaningless as both parties could make it go away. There are plenty of potential interested parties, and it does not have to be a drug company. Carlyle. KKR. Private equity.
The deal was announced on Jan 8th...let it simmer.

And no I do not know anything. I am just approaching it as an investment banker.
