Thanks for the post regarding the passing of Eugene Cernan.

Indeed, he was intrepid and brave as were all the astronauts who got into their craft and sailed to the moon.

In a small sense I had a vested interest in the success of missions to the moon as I was a tech on the second stage of the Saturn rocket.
