I remember someone years ago suggesting that companies like Biogen could start a Taiwan Semi type business using this expertise. This expertise probably behind many attempting biosimilars.

Dew,

RVNC owns its own production assets because it would be prohibitive for anyone else to make that type of infrastructure investment at this point.

It would be intersting to have more quantitation of this. For large companies like Genentech and Amgen, who produce a large % of biologics, its clear most of it is done in US. For smaller companies who may not have a large mfg presence, the biologics manufacturers seem to be mostly in ireland or Germany. From my experience those 2 countries constitute the bulk of contract biologic manufacturing.
But i dont know the breakdown for sure.
