#5578 RE: Mr Twenton #5575

Thanks for the agenda Mr. twenton. Informative. Its just a housekeeping meeting, allowing GE to take control of the board as I opined. Was amused when some posters thought they might have a say in the new board selection and company operations with GE owning 75%+. Lets see how much input the 15% have in this meeting and selection. Don't see Elliot having much input. Amused by all that regulatory language posted by some, purporting to show how much influence they might have. All that goes to process protections, not operation protections and GE will control operations even without the 90% so many said GE would need. As useful as those reams of language purporting to show that GE would need to disclose on an ongoing basis how many shares they had acquired. Most of this ge could have accomplished with just 51% which I thought GE would also go for if they did not get the 75% minimum. They easily accepted 73%, below the minimum as I thought they would.

Bottom line, not much of a chance for Little guy questioning or input so would not attend. Perhaps the questions I raised and others can be asked at the general annual meeting which I think is in March?? But again thanks a lot for the info, looks like GE is moving quickly to obtain operational control, the 15% not withstanding. Now lets see if the stock can trade well which it isn't lately.

The Extradorniary General Meeting is on Februrary 7th. The next General Meeting is on March 28th. My initial thought was that GE Sweden Holdings AB was proposing "that Jan Olof Bruer, Henrik Hedlund, Anna Malm Bernsten, Malin Ruijsenaars and Joakim Westh dismissed as board members and that Carlos Härtel, Riccardo Procacci and Vandana Sriram elected as new Board members" for a full year term. This may very well be the ultimate goal but the wording says "for the period until the next AGM." The next Annual General Meeting being on March 28th, 2017. Fully expect the recommendations for the one year terms at that time.

Also, I found a little (very little) about Vandana Sriram. It's just something to put a face and voice to the name.

A very short video: https://vimeo.com/188006841

The next video in the series was from Mohammad Ehteshami, Vice President, Additive Integration, GE Aviation: https://vimeo.com/188006840

The videos didn't elaborate on what APAF is.
Asian Pacific American Forum
APAF is one of GE’s many diversity groups, along with the African American Forum, Hispanic Forum, Women's Network, Veteran's Network and the GLBTA Alliance. APAF is committed to the retention and growth of our members, developing world-class leaders, helping our communities, and helping GE grow in Asia. APAF has 16 hubs and 28 chapters nationally, serving the more than 9,000 Asian Pacific American (APA) employees at GE across the U.S. and Canada. Led by three national leaders and sponsored by two senior vice presidents on Jeffrey Immelt's CEC, APAF focuses on advancing the goals set forth in its mission statement. APAF has initiatives focused on leadership development, Asia careers, Asian women, education, healthcare in Cambodia, healthcare in the United States, government relations, HealthAhead, and external connections. The 2011 national meeting was attended by more than 700 high-performing APA employees, GE leaders and distinguished external guests.
