Public opinion and pressure from law enforcement might accelerate a thc breathalyzer becoming a reality. Of course the same could be true for swabs with all their pitfalls. The good people of society might trade off established legal rights for the "greater good" of having something less than ideal to deal with impaired driving. I think Breathtec will have more hurdles to get over and will take longer because of the multitude of diseases that it is being developed for. I don't think Breathtec is a bad idea, but I do think it is the same technology as the thc breathalyzer, just a different purpose. Personal opinion only.
