Johnston, RI - Caduceus Software Systems (OTC: CSOC) [$CSOC] Is pleased to announce that it has an agreement in place with Icon Media Holdings (OTC: ICNM). The agreement is comprehensive, and states that on mutual best efforts basis, shall work together to create programming technology, IT sharing, and networking and configuration services that would benefit both of the parties (CSOC and ICNM).
ICNM is a hardware provider for wireless telecom industry and delivers the OSI low-level routing of data. ICNM's services division is Spectrum Velocity. ICNM is the hardware aspect.
Caduceus (CSOC) shall facilitate software configuration, virtual machine setups, and programming (when needed) to compliment ICNM and Spectrum Velocity's projects. CSOC will act as the higher-level service for ICNM and Spectrum Velocity's projects.
The relationship is a sensible one, and allows each company to utilize each others resources and expertise. The agreement is not just to extend the service of each other -- each party agrees to produce new products together that we would not have been able to build if we were to do it alone.
Caduceus' Management observes and concludes that successful Joint Ventures in the technology space combines hardware with software as a full end-to-end product. This optimizes costs, as we can control the hardware procurement and the provisioning of its software product layer onto the hardware. The Company has studied the case where for example, Apple, provides excellent service and product because it has control of its spectacular hardware and its rock solid operating system. We do not claim to be as sophisticated or in the realm of Apple's process of perfectionism, but the concept of full-end-to-end, last-mile provisioning of our service and product is key to success.
As of late, Caduceus Software Systems team has been extending its business model to include Software-as-a-service (aka SaaS) to garner recurring revenue for its future services. One way that the Company sees it useful to joint venture with Icon Media Holdings is to, perhaps, uses its network hardware set-ups to provide a Content Delivery Network (aka CDN). Please see the definition of CDN on wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_delivery_network . ICNM's hardware infrastructure could be configured (hypothetically) to provide CDN service for CSOC or any of their future partner(s) to provide faster delivery of data objects due ICNM's geographical network topology in North Carolina. Amazon provides comprehensive CDN service called AWS CloudFront. Two other CDN examples are Akamai, and CloudFlare. A recent teleconference held in December of 2016, led ICNM and CSOC to explore the idea of another service; such as network uptime monitoring systems; which can only be facilitated with a comprehensive hardware network with hardware network and software redundancy. Comparable uptime monitors are keep-alives and ping monitors (pingdom.com, site247.com, and for comprehensive details of each node NewRelic.com ). These ideas came about from open, zero-ego, maximum transparency discussions between our teams. These are not official projects, but both of our project horizons have expanded via the joint venture IP agreement. We do not claim we are as comprehensive as those companies mentioned.
