It's there because it's been promoted before. It's a very low float stock, around 2M (CEO owns 20M of the 22M outstanding shares). I first gained notice of this back in September when a the Form 3 dropped. Like hanibal mentioned, this is a fully reported stock. When this went up, I initially thought a 8-K must have dropped. I had no idea it was promoted and who the promoter was until I looked on Twitter.
This CEO has a history of making mergers happening. I'm still holding shares and awaiting the next 10-Q. I do agree, it's very unfortunate that there are people stuck in this by a slimy promoter.
