The patents are NOT key... that is the problem! Anyone can get a patent on anything...

No one is biting because they do not have any "key" patents!

The Elastic Circuit patent is useless, in my opinion, since materials do not "swell" to an extent that it would be of any use whatsoever! IF the product could even actually be made! Patent is easy, making it not so much...

And if they actually could... who needs it?
