Not everyone is here for the long haul. A quick flip can also being some profit without even the need to care for history or future of the company. But the days of decent P&D's seem to be long gone and trading volumes have gone down drastically, making it a high risk to trade without a loss. Buying low and selling high hardly possible anymore as multiple upticks are scarce and have ample fresh bid support to get out again with a decent profit.
