Incorrect you have claimed a non principal account short position, as a market maker that will in fact result in an FTD as there is no borrow in place. You cannot have it both ways.

There are multiple types of dividends, nobody said anything about a cash dividend, an RS is in fact a share dividend. You are either increasing or decreasing the number of shares by a fraction, that is a dividend.
