Not necessarily, Cell-in-a-Box® is a “platform” upon which treatments for different diseases may be built. Just one example is our diabetes treatment that encapsulates insulin-producing Melligen cells, which require no remote activation from the liver, pancreas or any other organ. If Cell-in-a-Box® can do that with the Melligen cells, then why not with any other drug for a more targeted and quicker efficacy, thereby also reducing the amount of drug needed and it's associated side effects?
