I keep one for emergency but never used it as needs to be connected to my computer, but sure I will use it one day.

I have no experience with the product, just have it ready if for example snaking does not work fixing a clog and a look see if something big like a plastic cap is stuck in the drain, skipping the snake would ne a nice heads up... Ha, then ya might need the vacuum extension.....some buildings go right with that vacuum extention to start...but I never saw or tried it. Hate those clogs as never know how big the problem could be.
While on the phone here, for the sink drain, good to have this inexpensive tool to pull any hair out of the drain every 6 months to avoid the "clog"....works like a miracle.
