I only care about allowed claims. Total claims are moot. I agree the balance sheet did not look right when they calculated for the POR. They took liab down to lime 380b and assets to what like 90b? I forgot. But it was outrageous. Those were audited financials and not all assets were repos.

Lehman did have a liquidity issue. But it could have been resolved over time. The fed decided not to give them time. They gave aig time, gm too. It was a poor decision in hindsight. They say they want to say feds will not rescue banks anymore? Bs, they will do the same if there was a crisis today. The banks are laughing at the feds.

Hey New, or anyone else....does someone have a chart handy of the waterfall?
I own Junior bonds and was wondering where they sit compared to the Cap Trusts.
I was also wondering how much in Sr debt has to be paid before Jr's get "wet".
