First Bob dylan gets a nobel prize for singing nonsense, then ray davies gets a knighthood.....

I'm big fans of both but, really, nobel prize, knighthood???

I didn't realize at the time the brothers were so dysfunctional.

They coulda been a bigger hit in USA except they got banned from playing there because the boys liked to kick the shit out of each other on stage.

Apparently, this didn't go over too well in the 60's. They were 10 years too early to pull off shit like that.

Does this mean that my entire kinks collection, 20 or so albums, in mostly mint condition, is now worth a sum of money?

So many songs, so many subjects, I used to bet guys they could pick any subject and I could come up with a song that the kinks sang about it. and always could

Bob Dylan nobel prize, Ray Davies Knighthood, that just leaves Neil Young to get something and 80 percent of my record collection is special...

HA HA, yesterday or the day before, or the day before that, was Steven Stills birthday and they celebrated it on the radio by playing one of his songs....... They played neil young. Coulda been stills on guitar somewhere in the background, but definately Neil Young singing.

Oh, today is international brail day. Happy day to everyone that can't read this.

This morning on the radio they announced this and were talking to a blind woman about this special day and the announcer said that a film came out last week about this subject. Have you seen it?

I almost choked to death on my coffee. HELLO... SHE'S BLIND, OF COURSE SHE DIDN'T SEE IT!
