I've done well playing the S&P Index this year in one account. But of late it looks like I've squeezed everything out of it that I can.

S&P 500 expected to rise only 4% by end of 2017

The S&P 500 index SPX, +0.13% which most strategists target for their year-ahead projections, has risen nearly 11%,

I don't see how Trump and his motley crew can come up with another 10%+ gain next year.

I think I'll have to start cherry picking stocks next year that are insulated from Donald's Tweets. lol. I'm letting BAC ride and I'm going to look into small regional banks that are ripe for a takeover and or paying a healthy dividend.

2016 was a banner year for me averaging just about a 10% gain in all my accounts 401Ks and my trading account.
