Why would they do that? Offering IPOs could make them money but nowhere near what selling their entitled 79 percent would it? Plus IPOs would go to the FHFA right? Not Congress. So why on earth would the administration favor splits and IPOs if it devalues their 79 percent stake and/or just gives all the profits to the FHFA?

This is a very, very, very bad idea. People who short this stock will crash and burn like shorts have never been burned before. The stock is headed to $100 on organic growth without Reverse Split.

Only time they do a reverse split is when there are too many shares in the float and the price of the stock is very low. We have 1.2B shares in the float and the price of the stock is $4 pps. Both are very healthy levels and no reason to do a Reverse split and wipe out the shareholders.
